This online course trains workers how to form emergency rescue teams for use in permit required confined spaces. Every year over half of the workers injured in confined space accidents are those attempting an impromptu rescue of a coworker. Without the proper training such rescue attempts are dangerous and often fatal.
This online training highlights the OSHA required standards that must be met by a confined spaces rescue team such as evaluating the situation and victim rescue techniques. The video training illustrates the hazards of a confined space rescue and how to avoid accidents by using the proper equipment. This includes the use of safe and working communications equipment, positive pressure supplied air breathing apparatus and retrieval lines.
This video course teaches employees and employers how to meet OSHA standards for confined space rescue teams, and is the third in a three-part series on confined space emergencies. Use the information presented in this Video On Demand program to reduce work place injuries and save lives.
