This online training course is the third of five courses educating emergency responders on how to deal with situations where hazardous materials are involved. Teaching responders how to predict what will happen based on their response choice gives them the opportunity to better control the situation.

It also teaches them about the different properties and reactions of different materials in accordance with their actions. By understanding the risks and potentials of the situation, responders are able to better predict the potential results of their decisions.
